Deep Water Bourbon, one of the newer releases from Five & 20 Spirits Whiskey Expressions, received a high rating of 92 points and was featured in Wine Enthusiast’s 2025 Buying Guide.
From the review: “Aged a minimum of seven years, this bourbon has a bold vanilla aroma. The first sips open with espresso and black tea, winding into a long, tingly finish showing grapefruit peel, hops, black pepper and clove.”
This spirit waited patiently in charred American oak barrels for at least 7 years before it got its time to shine. The extra aging adds a richer, sweeter profile to complement the corn-heavy mash bill.
This recognition of Deep Water Bourbon follows a 91 rating and feature in “The 30 Best Bourbons of 2024” by VinePair, and of its Rye cousin, Deep Water Rye Whiskey, which also received a 91 rating and “30 Best Ryes” designation from VinePair.
